How Apotela BaZi works
Apotela BaZi starts with the Chinese zodiac and makes the deeper Four Pillars system easier to explore, without treating it as a source of certainty or professional advice.
1. Begin with the details you choose
Enter a Gregorian or Chinese lunar birthday, a birthplace and, if known, a birth time. The app uses its bundled city and time-zone data on your device.
2. Read the chart in layers
Start with the Chinese zodiac, Four Pillars, Day Master and Five Elements. Expand traditional details such as hidden stems, Ten Gods and seasonal context only when you want them.
3. Use timing for reflection
Daily, weekly, monthly and longer views place the current day alongside your natal chart. They provide symbolic themes and prompts, not predictions or guarantees.
4. Keep your information with you
Profiles, readings, relationship notes and settings remain on your device. You can use an optional screen PIN and create an encrypted manual backup.
