Terms of use
End User License Agreement
1. Agreement
By installing or using Apotela Tarot, you agree to this End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. License
Apotela Tarot grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app for personal, lawful purposes on devices you own or control, subject to the applicable app-store rules.
3. Tarot content
Tarot readings and interpretations are interpretive content for personal reflection and entertainment. They are not statements of fact, assessments of another person, guaranteed predictions, or medical, mental-health, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice. Do not delay qualified help or make important decisions solely because of an app reading.
4. Your information and local storage
You are responsible for the information you enter. App information is stored locally as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for device security and any backups you choose to make. Removing the app or clearing its storage may permanently delete locally stored information, although a device or app-store backup may retain a copy under the platform provider's terms.
5. Age and lawful use
If you have not reached the age at which you may enter this agreement in your location, use Apotela Tarot only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. You must comply with the laws that apply to you.
6. Purchases and refunds
Purchases, payment processing, family sharing, device eligibility, and refunds are administered by the store through which you obtained the app and are subject to that store's terms and applicable consumer law. Apotela Tarot does not independently receive or store your payment-card details.
7. Acceptable use
You may not sell, sublicense, distribute unauthorized copies, interfere with the app, bypass security controls, use it unlawfully, or use its readings to harass, discriminate against, manipulate, or make harmful decisions about another person.
8. Ownership and third-party materials
Apotela Tarot, its design, text, software, and original assets remain the property of the publisher or their licensors. This agreement licenses the app; it does not transfer ownership. Open-source software remains subject to its applicable licenses.
9. Maintenance, updates, and compatibility
The publisher is responsible for Apotela Tarot's maintenance and support to the extent required by law; an app-store operator has no obligation to provide support for the app. Updates may change, replace, or remove features for compatibility, security, legal, or functional reasons. Continued compatibility with every device, operating-system version, or third-party service is not guaranteed.
10. Availability and disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. No guarantee is made that every calculation, interpretation, feature, or device function will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in this agreement excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Responsibility and liability
You remain responsible for your decisions, device security, backups, and use of locally stored information. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on interpretive content, loss of local data, or inability to use the app.
12. Updates and termination
The app and these terms may be updated for legal, security, or functional reasons. Your license ends if you materially breach these terms. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the app.
13. Store and consumer terms
This agreement is between you and the publisher, not Apple, Google, or another distributor. The publisher—not the store operator—is responsible for the app, its content, support, and claims concerning the app, except where the store's terms or applicable law provide otherwise. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement for copies obtained through Apple's App Store and may enforce the applicable terms. Apple, Google, and other distributors may impose additional terms. Nothing here limits consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded in your location.
14. General terms
If a provision of this agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. This agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and applicable app-store terms, forms the agreement concerning your licensed use of Apotela Tarot.
